Here we have the Saint George of Cappadocia, commonly syncretized with Ogum and Exu Rei (Èsù King) and has a kaballistic relationship with the Archangel Samael on Sephira Geburah (Strength, Severity).

In Quimbanda, Saint George is syncretized with Exu Rei. Exu Rei is considered the leader of the phalanx of the Exus, being a very powerful spirit, with warlike and protective characteristics. Known for his devotion and protection, especially in the fight against evil and in defense of the oppressed. By uniting the characteristics of these two spirits, Saint George, Exu Rei is believed to be a powerful and assertive guardian in Quimbanda.
